Dr. Tan Chow Wei obtained his basic medical degree from the University of Malaya in 1978. He is listed as a Family Medicine Specialist (FMS) in the National Specialist Register and a life member of Academy of Medicine Malaysia since 2007. He has also obtained a post-graduate diploma in Teaching of Family Medicine (2009) and teaches part time at Monash University Malaysia. He is currently the chief examiner for the Conjoint MAFP/FRACGP Examination.
